Rates
The portable wall rents for $175 an hour with a three hour minimum (ask
about discounts for an eight-hour day).
For events outside the Madison area, there is a travel charge. Out of
town is defined as anything outside of the metro-Madison area. Fees include,
but are not limited to $2.00/mile.
If you are interested in arranging a special ticket price for use of
the wall at your event, to recover costs, this can also be arranged.
Liability
Boulders covers all liability and property insurance for the event! Our
coverage has a $1,000,000 per incident minimum. We will also handle all
facilitation of the liability situation. Climbers will sign release waivers
before they are allowed to climb the wall.
Staffing
Included as well are Boulders certified staff. They will process and
run all wall activities. They will handle equipment and climber safety,
event facilitation and wall promotion. For most events, we estimate that
we will need three to four staff. Depending on the arrangement, (# of
climbs per participant), the wall can process approximately 40 people per hour.
There are three different sides to the wall with 4 different routes that can be climbed. Each side
has routes set at different levels of difficulty. Accordingly, it can
service both beginners and expert climbers.
Space Requirements
The wall requires a minimum of 60 ft. x 20 ft. of level ground for operation.
It stands 27 ft. tall and approximately 8ft. wide, and needs 30 ft. clearance
to be raised. Since the wall is towed by a large truck, drive-in access
is required.

Dates and times for the portable wall are being booked quickly. Please
let us know the status of the event you are planning as soon as possible.
