"Yet lofty ropes may offer respite from the murky gambit of tedious days."
-Adonius Clavidicus, 337-369 AD

Boulders Climbing Gym offers team-building workshops for both small and large groups. We can accomodate classes of five to twenty-five adults and/or students. We can modify or create a program that is suited to your needs. We welcome boy/girl scouts, youth groups, corporate groups and everyone in between. Our climbing gym environment allows a dynamic program for the participants that can range from traditional ropes course challenges to technical climbing activities. Our program includes but is not limited to games, trust activities, team building, initiative problems, low elements, and high elements.

  • Games-These activities provide morale growth that facilitates group cohesion and enthusiasm for the program.
  • Trust Activities-These activities are designed promote trust among participants and importance of spotting fellow members in the group including: Human Ladder, Trust Fall, Trust Dive, Willow in the Wind, etc.
  • Initiative Problems- Initiative exercises offers a series of clearly and often fanciful defined problems. Each task is designed so that a group must employ cooperation and some physical effort to gain a solution. Some problems are more cognitive than physical and vice versa.
  • Low Elements- These activities are designed to instill confidence, build trust and preparr the group for the high elements.
  • High Elements- Although our facility is not designed as a traditional ropes course, our climbing gym does provide a much more dynamic environment for activities not on the ground. High elements are used to foster a inner-confidence by exposing participants to activities and tasks off the ground.
